Is the membership right for me?

Art to Business is for you who are a visual artist or designer, and want to run your own art business sustainably and profitably. If you have experienced any of the following, the membership is perfect for you:

Who can get A discount?

If you’re a student, part time or full time, you can pick the student plan for 15€ excl. VAT (instead of 49€! What a bargain!).

To stay on the student plan, you’ll need to send us a proof of enrollment, student ID or certification through e-mail: hello@arttobusinessportal.com. If you do not provide proof of ongoing education you’ll be removed from the student plan and can choose to join the normal plan of 39€ instead.

When can I cancel my membership if I wish to leave?

Monthly Plan
You can cancel your membership at any time and will not be billed again once you’ve canceled. You’ll still be a member and have access to all material until your cancellation month runs out. There is no cancellation period at all and you can do it by a few simple clicks in your own account.

Yearly Plan
You can cancel your membership at any time and you'll be a member for the rest of the year that you’ve paid for, and won’t get billed again for the upcoming year.

We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial-month or partial-year membership periods.

What payment methods can I use?

You pay safely with card through Stripe. Make sure the card you’re putting in has the funds on it in order to pay for your membership. If you have a business, you can easily pull the receipt from your account with us under the “Billing” tab for your book-keeping.

Do I need any prior knowledge to join?

No, but you need a product or art you've created yourself and want to sell OR thinking of creating and selling. No drop shipping or buying in bulk from other businesses. Creators within visual art such as broderie, sculpturing, painting, digital art (and so on) are all welcome to join as long as there is a will to start or run your very own art business.

Why does the price change in my cart?

If you’re based in the EU, Stripe needs to charge the VAT rate for digital products in your country. The VAT will therefore be added to your purchase. If you’re based outside of the EU your price will be displayed without VAT. This is nothing Art to Business has any control over and the tax rate varies depending on which country you’re residing in.

Will you raise my monthly price?

The price you’re joining with is your “forever price” and will not be changed, ever.

Even if the portal grows and the membership gets more expensive per month for new members - your price will remain the same. The current price is 49€ / month or 499€ / year excl. VAT.

We never do promotions, discounts or campaigns for our membership, so you can always rest assured you’ll have the best deal on the market!

How does the match-making service work?

Art to Business books a loooot of meetings with companies (so you don’t have to!) where we sell our members’ work and services. When a client wants to order, we will hire you to do the work. You get paid in advance and get commissions within your field. 

If you make art, this could mean Art to Business purchases paintings from you for our client. If you’re a graphic designer, this could mean Art to Business hires you to design a website, or merchandise or create a visual identity for a client. 

We split the income from the commission, as a guideline the artist receives 70% and Art to Business 30%. Our fee covers the time and costs for finding and contacting clients, writing contracts, negotiating, billing, meetings, advisory, customer service and more. 

On bigger commissions, we assemble a team of artists or designers to execute the tasks within their field of expertise, in this case, the 70/30 guideline isn’t applicable, and instead the project budget is divided among the team members based on their contribution.

This is a really great service and we’ve hired many of our members for a lot of different projects! Truly valuable and unique!
